Zagłębie Lubin – Club History
Zagłębie Lubin is a Polish football club from Lubin, a city in the Lower Silesia region of southwestern Poland known for its copper and silver mining traditions – the name Zagłębie means "mining basin". The club won the Polish Ekstraklasa in 1991 and 1992 under the patronage of KGHM Polska Miedź (Polish Copper), one of Europe's largest copper producers. Playing in orange and black, Zagłębie have been consistent Ekstraklasa competitors and have European competition experience from their championship era.
