Calcio Padova – Club History
Calcio Padova (Calcio Padova SPA, officially AC Padova) was founded in 1910 in Padua (Padova), a historic university city in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, home to one of the world's oldest universities (founded 1222). The club plays in white and competed in Serie A across multiple periods of their history, with their most sustained top-flight era in the 1990s and early 2000s. Padova represent the proud Veneto region and have recently worked their way back through the Italian football pyramid following financial difficulties.
