Dundee FC plays at Dens Park Stadium, located adjacent to Tannadice Park — home of city rivals Dundee United — on Tannadice Street in Dundee, Scotland. With a capacity of approximately 11,850 spectators, Dens Park has served as Dundee's home since 1899 and represents one of Scottish football's most historically rich venues. The two Dundee grounds — Dens Park and Tannadice — are separated by only a few hundred metres, making the Dundee derby one of world football's most geographically proximate rivalries. The main stand at Dens Park was designed by Archibald Leitch, the celebrated architect responsible for several of Britain's most distinctive football structures.

Dens Park witnessed Dundee FC's finest moment when the club won the Scottish league championship in 1961–62 and subsequently participated in the European Cup, where they famously reached the semi-finals in 1962–63, defeating Cologne, Sporting CP, and Anderlecht before losing to eventual winners AC Milan. Those European nights at Dens Park, with crowds of over 40,000 filling the then-terraced ground, are among the most celebrated moments in Scottish football history outside of the Glasgow clubs. Dundee's subsequent years have seen the club experience the full spectrum of Scottish football's divisions, but the European memory at Dens Park remains a source of enormous civic pride.

Dens Park has been the subject of various redevelopment discussions over the years, with the club and Dundee City Council exploring options for upgrading the stadium's facilities. The historic main stand requires ongoing maintenance, and the ground's infrastructure, while charming, does not fully meet contemporary standards for top-level professional football. A joint redevelopment of both Dundee grounds has been proposed at various points, reflecting the logistical advantage of having two professional grounds in such close proximity. Dens Park's continued role as Dundee FC's home grounds the club in the geography and history of the city it represents, maintaining the connection between the club and the community of Dundee that has existed for over 125 years.
