SK Rapid

SK Rapid Wien, Austria's most successful club by number of league titles, plays at Allianz Stadion, a modern arena located in Hütteldorf in the 14th district of Vienna. The stadium opened in July 2016, replacing the legendary Gerhard-Hanappi-Stadion (named after a famous Rapid player and architect) that had served the club since 1977. With a capacity of 28,345 spectators — expandable to around 32,000 for international fixtures — the Allianz Stadion was purpose-built to meet UEFA standards and provide Rapid with world-class facilities befitting Austria's largest football club. The naming rights were secured from insurance company Allianz.

The inauguration of the Allianz Stadion was a landmark moment for Austrian football. SK Rapid Wien, founded in 1897, is the oldest football club in Austria and holds the record for the most Austrian Bundesliga titles.
