Team History

SSC Bari – Club History

Società Sportiva Calcio Bari was founded in 1908 in Bari, the largest city in the Puglia region of southern Italy on the Adriatic coast. The club plays in red and white stripes and represents the proud footballing culture of the mezzogiorno – Italy's south. Bari have competed in Serie A across multiple eras, with their most celebrated period in the early 1990s when they hosted French striker Jean-Pierre Papin before his Champions League glory with Marseille and the iconic Roberto Baggio played for the club early in his career. The club's San Nicola Stadium is one of Italy's finest modern venues.
