NK Lokomotiva Zagreb – Club History
NK Lokomotiva Zagreb was founded in 1914 in Zagreb, Croatia's capital city. The club plays in blue and has long been associated with the Croatian railway workers' tradition – the name Lokomotiva (Locomotive) reflects this industrial heritage. Lokomotiva have been consistent Croatian First Football League participants and are the third club of Zagreb, behind the dominant Dinamo Zagreb. The club is notable for developing players who move on to Dinamo Zagreb and other Croatian clubs. Their Kranjčevićeva Stadium provides a compact home ground in the western part of Zagreb.
