FC Rukh Lviv is a Ukrainian football club from Lviv (formally associated with Vynnyky, a satellite community). The club rose through Ukrainian football's divisions to compete in the Ukrainian Premier League, representing the western Ukrainian city of Lviv alongside the historic Karpaty Lviv. Rukh (meaning "movement" in Ukrainian) brought a fresh, modern identity to Lviv football and quickly established themselves as competitive Premier League participants, with their Rukh Stadion providing a modern home for top-flight Ukrainian football in western Ukraine's cultural capital.
