NK Gorica – Club History

NK Gorica is a Croatian football club from Velika Gorica, a city in the Zagreb County just south of Zagreb and adjacent to Zagreb International Airport. The club has competed in the Croatian First Football League and has had periods of consistent HNL competition. Playing in blue and yellow, NK Gorica represent the Turopolje region south of Zagreb and have worked to establish themselves as regular Croatian top-flight participants. Their proximity to Zagreb, while giving them access to a large population, means they compete in the shadow of Dinamo Zagreb for local support.
