King Power at Den Dreef Stadion

Heverlee, Kardinaal Mercierlaan 46 10,020 capacity

The King Power at Den Dreef Stadion is the home of OH Leuven, located at Kardinaal Mercierlaan 46 in Heverlee, a leafy suburb on the southern edge of Leuven in Flemish Brabant. The stadium holds 10,020 supporters and occupies a site with a history dating back to the 1920s. "Den Dreef" refers to the tree-lined avenue that runs along one side of the ground, giving it a distinctive pastoral setting that contrasts with the urban surroundings of most top-flight stadiums. The current naming rights are held by the King Power Group, the Thai retail and investment conglomerate whose interest in OH Leuven is linked to their ownership connections with Leicester City.

OH Leuven's association with King Power began around 2017 when the group, led by the Srivaddhanaprabha family, acquired a stake in the club. This investment facilitated OH Leuven's promotion to the Pro League in 2021, ending a long absence from the top flight. The cross-ownership model linking OH Leuven with Leicester City has enabled player loan exchanges and shared technical resources, giving the club a development pathway that has benefited multiple younger players. Leuven itself is one of Belgium's great university cities, home to the historic KU Leuven institution founded in 1425, and the student population adds a distinctive vibrancy to the football culture around the stadium.

Den Dreef's relatively small capacity means it regularly fills close to its limit for Pro League fixtures, creating an atmosphere that the compact stands amplify effectively. The ground has undergone improvements under King Power investment, with better facilities and matchday infrastructure. Further development has been considered to increase capacity and improve the stadium's long-term viability as a top-flight venue. Despite its modest size, the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion serves as a welcoming and well-organised football ground in one of Flanders' most culturally significant cities.
