Östgötaporten

Norrköping, Ektorpsgatan 6 17,234 capacity

IFK Norrköping plays at Östgötaporten (previously known as Nya Parken), a modern stadium located in Norrköping, a city of approximately 140,000 inhabitants in Östergötland county, southeastern Sweden. The stadium was rebuilt and modernised in recent years, with a capacity of approximately 17,200 spectators, providing Norrköping with one of Allsvenskan's better-appointed grounds. Norrköping is known as the "city of rivers and roses" and was historically an important Swedish industrial centre for textiles. IFK Norrköping is the most successful club in Swedish Allsvenskan history in terms of total championship titles, having won the league 13 times.

IFK Norrköping's 13 Swedish championships make them the joint-most decorated club in Swedish football alongside AIK. The club's golden era spanned the 1940s, 1950s, and early 1960s, when they were the dominant force in Swedish football, winning multiple consecutive titles and producing many Swedish international players. Their most recent championship, won in 2015, demonstrated that the club retains the ability to challenge for the title against better-resourced rivals. Norrköping have also participated in European competition on several occasions and have contributed significantly to Swedish football's player development pipeline.

The modernised Östgötaporten provides Norrköping with facilities appropriate for consistent Allsvenskan competition and European qualifying. The stadium's location in a city with a strong football culture — Norrköping had Sweden's most successful club for several decades — creates an engaged and knowledgeable supporter base that fills the ground well for major matches. As one of Swedish football's most historically significant clubs, IFK Norrköping continues to make Östgötaporten one of Allsvenskan's more prestigious venues, where the weight of championship history is felt by all who play there.
