Estadio El Sadar

Estadio El Sadar

Pamplona, Carretera El Sadar 23,576 capacity

The Estadio El Sadar is the home of Club Atlético Osasuna, located in Pamplona (Iruña), the capital of the Foral Community of Navarre in northern Spain. Originally opened in 1967 as Estadio de El Sadar, the ground underwent a comprehensive renovation and expansion between 2019 and 2023, during which it was modernised while maintaining continuous matchday use. Following the completion of the new main stand in 2023, the stadium's capacity reached approximately 23,576 — making it one of the more intimate La Liga grounds, though renowned for its intense atmosphere.

Osasuna are one of Spanish football's most distinctive clubs — a member-owned cooperative with deep roots in the community of Navarre. The Sadar has been the stage for several memorable periods in the club's history, including their top-flight campaigns in the 2000s and their return to European competition in the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. The ground also hosted Copa del Rey matches that brought major clubs to Pamplona, creating some electrifying occasions in the stadium's history.

The Sadar is known for producing one of the loudest and most passionate atmospheres in La Liga, despite its modest capacity. Located in the city centre, within walking distance of the famous Calle Estafeta of the Running of the Bulls, the stadium embodies Pamplona's proud identity. The record attendance at the old pre-renovation Sadar stood at around 18,000. For Osasuna and their "rojillos" supporters, El Sadar is more than a ground — it is a symbol of collective ownership and civic pride.
