The Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán is the historic home of Sevilla FC, located in the Nervión district of Seville, Spain. Opened on 7 September 1958, the stadium was named in honour of Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, a former president of the club who played a pivotal role in its construction. With a capacity of approximately 43,000, it is one of the most atmospheric grounds in Spanish football, renowned for its fervent support and its importance in both domestic and European competition.

The Pizjuán has hosted some of football's most memorable occasions. It was a venue during the 1982 FIFA World Cup and held the 1986 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final. Most significantly, it hosted the 1986 European Cup final between Steaua Bucharest and Barcelona, won dramatically on penalties. For Sevilla themselves, the stadium has been a fortress during their remarkable run of UEFA Cup and Europa League successes — the club has won the competition a record six times, and the Pizjuán served as a backdrop to the domestic legs of those campaigns. The ground's record attendance is 70,009, set in 1969.

The Pizjuán is widely considered one of the most intimidating stadiums in Europe, especially under floodlights, where Sevilla's passionate fans create an electric atmosphere. The ground has undergone several renovations over the decades, including the installation of covered stands, but it retains the compact, steep design that makes it such a cauldron of noise.
