Arjen Robben, another PSV product, went on to become one of the greatest wide forwards of his generation at Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich. The Brazilian duo of Romário and Ronaldo both had spectacular spells at PSV in the late 1980s and mid-1990s respectively, with Ronaldo's single season in Eindhoven (1994–95) widely regarded as one of the most dominant individual performances in Eredivisie history.
